Can anyone give me some tips for the best way to shape the wings. I am using cedar and thought a spokeshave would do it but now I am losing confidence in this method.

I hope that helpP
by the way I like your plane project too. I would like to do the small chinook helicopter. However I have a number of questions on wood type, glues and paints first.

I was thinking a Sander like my 1” wide belt Benchtop sander which is quite handy for these type of builds .
Thanks. Securing a long thin piece securely enough to my bench to withstand my belt sander would be the first trick. I made some headway today with a small block plane on one of the short lower wings. Appreciate the input.
I’d use my Benchtop Belt sander to get the general profile made then by hand use 110 grit sandpaper to blend in and get final shape. BTW - sure looks like an awesome plan to make.
